Candan Erdemli
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Central European University (CEU).
My research fields are Economics of Education, Labor Economics, and Health Economics with a focus on gender.
In my postdoc position, I work on Parental Leave and Career Trajectories of Men and Women in Austria, jointly with Alice Kügler, Lennart Ziegler, and Omar Bamieh.
I was a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Barcelona and Institut d'Economia de Barcelona (IEB), under the supervision of Judit Vall Castelló and Jenifer Ruiz-Valenzuela. In my PhD thesis, I investigated how changes in the family and society shape educational outcomes.
